When Helensville Rugby Club began planning their Canterbury Junior Tour for July 2025, they wanted their junior players looking sharp, united, and proud both on and off the field. That’s where we came in.

The brief? Create high-quality, practical tour gear that carried the club’s colours and crest, along with sponsor branding to acknowledge the support that made the trip possible. With a six-day itinerary across Canterbury, the kit had to work for travel, training, and team time.

The Scope

• Sublimated hoodies: Full club design with crest on the front and sponsors’ logos on the back

• Beanies: Embroidered with club crest and tour details

• Sublimated training tees: Breathable and comfortable, in full club colours

• Backpacks: branded with club crest and sponsors’ logos

The Process

The club got in touch in April, with the tour locked in for July. We went straight into artwork and production, ensuring everything was delivered in June well ahead of departure. All items were supplied in bulk to the club, ready for distribution to the players and supporters.

Sublimation allowed us to get crisp, vibrant club colours and incorporate detailed sponsor branding without compromising durability or sponsor branding detail. Embroidery was used for the beanies and DTF print onto the backpacks for a premium, long-lasting finish.

The Result

By the time the team boarded for Canterbury, every player was kitted out in matching gear that looked the part and stood up to the travel. The bold red and black designs made the squad instantly recognisable, the sponsor logos were proudly displayed, and the mix of hoodies, tees, beanies, and backpacks meant everyone had what they needed for a busy week on tour.

The club left with more than just memories of the games they had quality merch they’ll wear long after the final whistle.
