Heart Foundation x Gear – 1,000+ Tees, 1 Nationwide Campaign
When the Heart Foundation needed help producing t-shirts for their MyMarathon campaign, they weren’t just after a print run. They wanted full logistics support – fast, accurate, and nationwide. That’s where we came in.
The brief? Supply and send out a reward t-shirt to every participant who met the MyMarathon fundraising goal across Aotearoa, over 1,000 unique recipients, to individual addresses, with daily reporting and tracking.
What’s MyMarathon?
MyMarathon is an annual Heart Foundation campaign encouraging people to walk, run or move their way through 42km over the month of May all while raising funds for heart health in Aotearoa.
The money raised helps fund vital heart research to save Kiwi lives. It's a big kaupapa, and for every supporter who reached a specific milestone, they received a special t-shirt to thank them for their efforts in the fight against heart disease.
The Scope
- Initial bulk order, with top-up runs to meet growing demand
- 6-week fulfilment period, aligned with the MyMarathon campaign
- Managed production, warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping
- Delivered in recycled courier bags with an information sheet included, and daily tracking updates sent to both the recipient and the Heart Foundation team
We kicked things off by meeting with the Heart Foundation fundraising team to map out the logistics. Once the campaign launched, turning around new production runs within days when the stock ran low. Everything was packed by hand, tracked live in shared files, and sent with individual updates to each recipient.

The tee? A bold Heart Foundation red sports-style shirt

The Tech + Accuracy
Orders came through a shared spreadsheet system, and we managed the rest: address validation, batching by zone, live tracking, and status updates.
